Hi, I am Maiakovsky Camille.

I'm Videographer and Photographer based in the Ottawa region of Canada. When I was about six years old I got to use my very first camera, a point and shoot film camera. Even though it was't mine, I felt like it belonged to me and I to it.

I would borrow it from my mom's friend every chance I got just to take pictures. I had no idea how to develop films or know what a dark room was at the time, but I still enjoyed just shooting. I also remember just absolutely loving the anticipation of handing my mom's friend my films and waiting days and sometimes even a weeks for him to bring me a batch of pictures that were sometimes over or underexposed with all sorts of aberrations in them. But those little things didn't matter to me! I just was so proud of seeing all those pictures. 

When I finally moved to Canada, I asked my mom for a camera. We went into Black's and got me a little point and shoot camera. After moving to Ottawa a few years later, I begged her for a DSLR and just like the amazing mother that she is, she got me a Canon Rebel T3 and using that camera, I practiced and worked hard until I was able to upgrade gears, work with some artist, and build a following.
